JACOR Foundation Partners with First Tee – Middle Georgia for Spring Golf Clinic at Lake Jonesco

The JACOR Foundation was proud to partner with First Tee – Middle Georgia for the Lake Jonesco Spring Golf Clinic, held at Lake Jonesco Golf Course in Gray, Georgia. The free community event gave young golfers an opportunity to learn the game, build confidence, and enjoy time on the course in a positive, encouraging environment.

Hosted by First Tee – Middle Georgia, the clinic reflected the organization’s mission of using golf as more than a sport. Through instruction, encouragement, and hands-on participation, young people were introduced to lessons that reach far beyond the fairway — including character, perseverance, focus, respect, and confidence.

Lake Jonesco Golf Course provided a fitting setting for the event. As a local public golf course, it continues to serve the community by offering a welcoming place for players of different ages and skill levels to enjoy the game.

For the JACOR Foundation, this partnership represents exactly the kind of community investment we believe in: creating meaningful opportunities for young people to grow, connect, and discover new possibilities. Golf has a unique way of teaching patience, discipline, honesty, and resilience — values that can help shape a young person’s future both on and off the course.

We are grateful to First Tee – Middle Georgia, Lake Jonesco Golf Course, and everyone who helped make this spring clinic possible. Events like this remind us that when local organizations work together, we can open doors, build confidence, and help the next generation take their best swing.
